Chainstitch Embroidery

I love using my industrial hand-cranked chainstitch machine to bring my designs to life. 

I work on two machines: a Mauzer cast iron HEAVY machine that I mounted onto an old Singer sewing table and a pre-1940s Singer114W103 chainstitch machine I obtained from female-owned and operated embroidery duo that began business in the 1950s.

Chainstitch embroidery has created another outlet for me to bring to life designs that I've always wanted - and I find it incredibly mesmerizing.

Screenprinting

Turning my illustrations into screenprinted apparel and housewares has been super rewarding. I taught myself emulsion based screenprinting, built my own exposure rig, and run small batch prints out of my home studio.
